I first wrote this blog in January 2023 – I wrote it because I have experienced an incredible life journey so far, and now my focus is on HOME and connecting with what has always felt like my spiritual home, which is America. Abstract Artist Eve Le-Fay plans to showcase her work in New York galleries and galleries in California as the long love affair continues. It’s no longer optional as the feeling is just way too strong, and the difference now is that my life in the UK has ended a huge lifelong chapter, and I have acceptance of that. This love affair of mine has been going on for a while…I mean really quite a long while…(aprox 40 years). I lived in NJ for a while and travelled to Boston, NE and NY whilst there, and what I felt and encountered was HOME… a sense, a feeling that has never been surpassed location and vibe wise. I found the people just soooo positive over there, engaging, interested in who I was and what I was doing with an upwards trajectory take on life. In my experience it was a collective that lifted up others and I found that just amazing, refreshing and I loved it! There is also space… I mean alot of beautiful space with a peace within that space that I really resonated with, not only in the landscape but living space also – room to breathe! I had to return to England and I knew when I was on the plane coming back, that being in America, I had found my spiritual home, its really where I belong in every sense. I felt a sadness when leaving America that I had never felt before or since, but life throws so may curve balls, it just wasn’t my path at that time.
Life happened, but now, its time to refocus and my resonance and my focus is finding my home in America. I have absolutely no clue how this works…. but what I do know is that the right people show up at the right time. I’m going to be visiting galleries and getting my work out there.. I need to be where my heart is, and I feel that with every fibre of my being. Universe… I’m on it now, work your magic, I need to go home. Thank you and with love.. ELF
